Kerry Goes After First Amendment

Kerry, Barack Obama's former Secretary of State and Joe Biden's former Climate Envoy was speaking at the World Economic Forum when he went after the Constitution to prevent disinformation. His comments were shocking, to say the least…

Kerry continues his comments, suggesting that one party takes power to fight this battle, presumably the Democrats. He stated:

"So, what we need is to win the ground, win the right to govern, by hopefully winning enough votes that you're free to be able to implement change.

"The dislike of and anguish over social media is just growing and growing. It is part of our problem, particularly in democracies, in terms of building consensus around any issue. It's really hard to govern today. The referees we used to have to determine what is a fact and what isn't a fact have kind of been eviscerated, to a certain degree. And people go and self-select where they go for their news, for their information. And then you get into a vicious cycle."

Who Is Telling the Truth?

Kerry's comments are bothersome on so many fronts, but especially when you consider that first, we would need government officials to tell the truth. When you consider how much misinformation and disinformation was provided to the American people regarding Donald Trump and COVID over the last decade, the American people no longer trust the government, not that they ever did.

As an example, Biden, the media, and Democrats called Donald Trump out as someone who never told the truth and constantly lied about everything. Biden was going to be transparent. He actually claimed that his administration would be the most transparent ever, and when they screwed up, he would take ownership of that.

After Joe Biden was in office for 100 days, the Washington Post did a fact-check on Biden to see how many lies he had told the American people during that time. The post found that Biden has made 78 misleading claims in his first 100 days, almost a lie a day.

That does not even consider all the misinformation given to the American people about COVID-19, its origins, and all related things. We can also add in the lies told by Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) regarding FISA warrants and Trump collusion. What about the lies told by people like then-House Speaker Pelosi (D-CA) regarding January 6 that are all now coming out? How many "lies" told by Trump were eventually proven to be true, years after the media called him out for lying?

Analysis

When you start monitoring what people say, the problem is that the person monitoring has to be honest, and that person does not exist in our government. This extends to our intelligence and law enforcement agencies in the federal government. These are the agencies that dropped the hammer on social media companies over the Hunter Biden laptop story. These are the people who lied to the American people about the story being Russian disinformation.

Now we have people like John Kerry, also a notorious liar, hinting that the First Amendment should go away to stop disinformation, which Dems would define as anything that goes against whatever narrative they are pitching on that given day. They are moving our country toward a communist state and state-run media, yet nobody seems to be picking up on it. They can be dictators without being dictators if they control elections and control our courts to the point they never lose, and that is what Democrats are trying to do now. On election day, we stop them.
