Declassified Photo Reveals Horseshoe UFO Over Yukon After Similar Incident

 September 28, 2024

A recently declassified image of an unidentified flying object shot down over Yukon territory has reignited interest in UFO sightings and sparked comparisons to older footage.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, UFO enthusiasts are drawing connections between the newly released image and a video from over a decade ago.

The declassified photo, taken on February 11, 2023, shows a glowing horseshoe-shaped object with indistinct edges floating above the Yukon in northwest Canada.

The object was described in an internal email obtained by CTVNews as having a metallic top quarter with the remainder being white, and a 20-foot wire hanging below it with a suspended package.

A U.S. Air Force F-22 stealth fighter, working alongside the Canadian Armed Forces, shot down the object following the widely publicized Chinese spy balloon incident earlier that month.

Military and Expert Perspectives on the Yukon Object

A former Royal Canadian Air Force officer, speaking to the Daily Mail, shared insights from active-duty staff involved in the shootdown operation. Based on these conversations, the object was believed to be a balloon similar to the Chinese craft downed days earlier.

Despite this assessment, some UFO enthusiasts are drawing comparisons to older footage. A Reddit user claims to have stabilized a 12-year-old video showing a UFO over Busan, South Korea, which they believe resembles the Yukon object.

The user explained their process:

I recently stabilized this footage, which has drawn interesting comparisons to the "horseshoe" object reportedly shot down over the Yukon in 2023. After stabilizing the video, the object's crescent or horseshoe shape becomes much clearer, along with its curious flight dynamics.

Public Reactions and Skepticism

The stabilized footage has elicited mixed reactions from viewers, with some expressing excitement and others remaining skeptical.

One user commented on the need for better documentation, stating:

A better way to avoid confusion would be to publish a color, high-res photo or video, as they did with that jet intercept and the Chinese spy balloon. Amazing how transparency actually works.

Others questioned the variety of UFO designs reported in different sightings, with one user asking why alien crafts seem to lack standardization.

Skeptics on social media have also suggested that the videos from the YouTube channel "xxxdonutzxxx" might be fabrications created by CG artists Nico and Marco Kaschuba.

Continuing Debate Over UFO Sightings

The declassified image of the Yukon object has rekindled discussions about UFO sightings and their potential origins. While military sources suggest the object was likely a balloon similar to the Chinese spycraft, UFO enthusiasts continue to speculate about more exotic explanations. The comparison to older footage and the debate over the authenticity of UFO videos highlight the ongoing fascination and controversy surrounding unidentified aerial phenomena.
