Newly surfaced photos show Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in a compromising situation at a 2016 New York City party.
According to Daily Mail, exclusive images reveal Kennedy, 70, intently watching a scantily clad burlesque dancer while seated next to his wife Cheryl Hines at an upscale Manhattan venue. The photos have emerged amidst allegations of a sexting scandal involving the independent presidential candidate.
The images, taken at a VIP birthday celebration at the Harold Pratt House in March 2016, depict Kennedy fixated on a curvy dancer who removes her black tassel bra, leaving only small pasties covering her nipples. Hines, 59, appears visibly uncomfortable in the photos, eventually leaving her seat while Kennedy remains to watch the performance.
The exclusive photos show Kennedy dressed in a black suit and tie, seated just feet away from a podium where the dancers performed. While the politician seems to be enjoying the show, his wife, Hines, wearing a low-cut black cocktail dress, appears less enthused.
A fellow partygoer recalled the scene, stating:
Cheryl looked a little shocked and awkward but RFK Jr. didn't bat an eyelid. Evidently he felt quite at home in that environment.
The historic Harold Pratt House, typically used for society galas and Council on Foreign Relations meetings, was transformed for this occasion into a venue for risqué entertainment, with scantily clad dancers stationed around the room.
The release of these photos comes at a particularly sensitive time for Kennedy, who is currently embroiled in a sexting scandal involving New York Magazine journalist Olivia Nuzzi.
Reports suggest that Kennedy and Nuzzi, 31, exchanged numbers after an interview at his Brentwood, California home in November 2023. Their subsequent communications allegedly escalated to sexting, though both parties denied any physical relationship.
The scandal has had significant repercussions, with Nuzzi reportedly being placed on leave from her job and ending her engagement to Politico reporter Ryan Lizza.
In response to the allegations, Kennedy has taken a combative stance. The 70-year-old politician is reportedly considering legal action against Nuzzi over the alleged explicit content she sent him.
Writing for the House Inhabit Substack, Jessica Reed Kraus reported that Kennedy's team believes Nuzzi may have been attempting to "set him up." Security expert Gavin de Becker is investigating the possibility of a civil suit against the journalist.
De Becker commented on the situation:
This has nothing to do with romance. He was being chased by porn.
Despite the ongoing controversy, Kennedy has maintained a public presence. He was recently seen dining with Republican Representative Thomas Massie and attending an event on Capitol Hill, where he posed for photos with prominent GOP lawmakers.
