Harris Exaggerated Record, Broke Campaign Finance Rules During DA Campaign

 August 30, 2024

There are many negative aspects of Kamala Harris's past that the media will probably never discuss during this campaign.

The New York Post, however, has dug up a few of them, and they show that Harris has been corrupt and dishonest from the very first day she entered the political scene.

Talking Points…
- Lied about experience
- Broke campaign finance laws
- Analysis

Kamala Makes Up Record

When Harris was running for office for the San Francisco District Attorney's office, she sent out a mailer touting her record. The mailer claimed:

"Kamala has tried hundreds of serious and violent felonies, including homicide, rape, and child sexual assault cases."

That, however, was a lie. Harris was called out by one of her opponents on the lie, with Harris finally admitting during the debate that she had only prosecuted 50 cases, not the hundreds that she had claimed. She then tried to deflect, saying it was "about leadership." Not surprisingly, her presidential campaign doubled down on the lie when it was asked about the claims Harris made during her first campaign, stating:

"Vice President Harris oversaw and was involved in the prosecution of hundreds of serious crimes before she was elected District Attorney of San Francisco. For more than a decade, she prosecuted child sexual assault cases, homicides, and robberies in Alameda, before overseeing the career criminal unit and served as the head of division on families and children in the San Francisco District Attorney's office.

"That is what mattered to voters in San Francisco more than two decades ago and why she was elected District Attorney."

You see, if they say it enough, it comes true because Democrats never lie; they misspeak.

Campaign Finance Violation

During the same election cycle, Harris was hit for violating campaign finance laws. Harris had signed an agreement that her campaign's maximum spending would be $211,000, but she blew past the cap by more than $91,000. For violating the campaign finance rule, she was fined $34,000, but the damage had already been done. Harris won a very tight election by less than 22,000 votes, and you just have to wonder how much of that was due to her spending.

When Harris was asked about the violation at the time, she went right into spin mode, stating:

"Leadership isn't about being perfect. Leadership means taking responsibility.

"This agreement (with the Ethics Commission) shows what can happen when a campaign, instead of running from its mistakes, takes responsibility for them."

Analysis

Harris has always been corrupt, as I have done extensive digging into her career. Her ties to former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown are deeply embedded in this corruption. For instance, the owner of Pacific Cement was also a donor to Brown and Harris, and he was cut a sweetheart deal after using sand in his concrete mix in a rebuilt section of the Bay Bridge. Instead of prosecuting the company's owner, Ricardo Ramirez, Harris's office cut a deal, fining him $427,000 and dropping all charges related to the alleged crimes. Instead, he pleaded guilty to a single environmental charge and got off with a fine and one year of home detention.

Harris has a long history of cutting deals or not prosecuting allies or clients of her allies, such as several clients represented by Doug Emhoff's firm. Check out Harris' history against the Catholic Church for child abuse and Herbalife. That will give you just a taste of how corrupt this woman really is.
