Donald Trump was hoping to get Kamala Harris to do one debate on Fox News so he would get a fair shake, but Harris refused.
That leaves Trump walking into a firestorm, and that starts with ABC News moderator Linsey Davis, who recently tried to attach Donald Trump to the KKK.

If you think Donald Trump is going to get a fair shake during the debates, think again. Moderators for both the presidential and vice presidential debates have already set the table to let us know they have no intention of being fair. The latest being ridiculous comments made by Linsey Davis about a recent campaign stop for Donald Trump.
During the DNC, David was discussing Trump's campaign with Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Trump had an event planned in Howell, MI, to which David stated:
"As you know, former President Donald Trump is expected to go campaign in Howell, Michigan, tomorrow. Many people are aware that a month ago, in Howell, KKK protesters marched in the streets with the white robes on and suggested that they support Donald Trump.
"I'm curious if you make anything about that connection and him going in particularly to Howell tomorrow."
Whitmer then responded:
"Well, you know, anyone who's doing a little bit of research might have said, 'That's really a bad idea, look at the optics.' You're showing up where the KKK was just at the same time you're in Michigan.
"I mean, this is, I think, a troubling strategy that we see from the other side to divide us and to scare us and to stoke fear and anger. And contrast to what we are going to see all week, this is a gathering of joyful, happy warriors. We are rolling up our sleeves, we're doing the work, we take no one and no vote for granted."
That, my friends, is gaslighting because it is the Democrats who have been stoking fear for years, calling Trump a threat to democracy. They have even gaslighted the move to force Biden to step down, with Barack Obama saying it was done for the good of the country, yet he fails to mention it completely sidestepped our Constitution in the process.
After the Harris campaign attacked the Trump campaign on the same front, the Trump campaign started to let loose. It fired back that Joe Biden himself appeared in Howell, MI, in 2021, so why was there nothing made of his appearance? Biden was there to campaign for Rep. Elise Slotkin (D-MI), so I guess it's okay for Democrats but not okay for Republicans.
Karoline Leavitt, Trump's Press Secretary, added:
"President Trump will travel to Howell to deliver a strong message on law and order, making it clear that crime, violence, and hate of any form will have zero place in our country when he is back in the White House."
This obsession that the left has with associating Trump with the KKK is nothing more than more race-baiting and gaslighting by the Democrat Party. This is Whitmer's home state, so she actually has the ability to do something about the presence of the KKK in that city, but she does nothing. I guess the rest of the people in the city now have to pay the price for the handful of racists who continue to live there. If that is the case, then why were Slotkin and Biden there in 2021?
I stated earlier that Trump is now in a position where he has no choice but to debate Harris, even if it is on her terms, which it appears he has agreed to do. But I really have to question if Trump is going to get a fair shake or if he will actually be debating the moderator and Harris. Based on Davis' comments during the DNC, I have a feeling Trump is in for a long night at the debate.
