CNN commentator S.E. Cupp has strongly criticized the Democratic Party's decision to include former President Bill Clinton as a speaker at the upcoming Democratic National Convention (DNC).
In a segment on CNN, Cupp expressed her disapproval, arguing that Clinton's presence at the event contradicts the party's emphasis on decency.
According to a report by Fox News, Cupp's comments came in response to former White House communications director Kate Bedingfield's prediction that President Joe Biden would highlight the "core sense of decency" in Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign during his opening night speech at the DNC.
Cupp did not mince words in her assessment of Clinton's involvement in the DNC. She stated that the former president's participation was problematic for the Democratic Party's image.
"I don't know why Bill Clinton is still at these DNCs. He is a problem. He is a bad look for Democrats," Cupp remarked during the CNN segment. "I think Kate Bedingfield is totally right that [President] Joe Biden will talk about decency tonight. That's important.
