Amid the chaos, a Secret Service sniper neutralized the attacker from 400 yards, swiftly identifying and eliminating the threat within seconds.
A local police officer, despite being injured, played a key role in identifying and distracting the shooter, helping to prevent further casualties.
In an interview with Elon Musk on X's "Spaces," Trump expressed deep gratitude towards the medical staff at Butler Hospital and praised the quick actions of first responders and law enforcement.
