Biden Trying to Win Election by Fearmongering and Gaslighting the American People

 August 8, 2024

Democrats have become the masters of gaslighting and fearmongering of the American people.

Joe Biden, who has been hiding since he dropped out of the election, popped his head up long enough to do it again, saying he is worried about a peaceful transfer of power if Trump loses the election.

Donald Trump: A Threat to Democracy

How many times have we heard Democrats use the same couple of lines? Democracy is on the ballot. Donald Trump is a threat to Democracy. Sadly, far too many people in this country are sheep, and they believe every word the Democrats tell them without actually watching what the Democrats are doing.

For instance, what party wanted to add justices to the Supreme Court because they did not have the majority? What party has circumvented the Constitution and the Supreme Court to push through student loan forgiveness? What party has opened our borders and allowed illegal immigrants to enter this country at a staggering rate, including terror list suspects? And what party has made the unprecedented move of removing a primary-winning candidate only months before the election because he was polling poorly?

This is what Democrats do best… they deflect by accusing the other side of doing what they are actually doing. And why would they stop? Their message is working, as was evident by a recent survey posted in Fortune Magazine, which found that three out of four people surveyed actually believe democracy is on the line in the ballot in this election.

Biden Gaslights the American People

Biden sat down with CBS News this week for an interview that will air in full later this week. The portion of it that was shown, however, showed Biden’s response to the question of a peaceful transfer of power in January. Biden responded:

“If Trump wins, no I am not confident at all. I mean, if Trump loses, I’m not confident at all.

"He means what he says. We don't take him seriously. He means it. All this stuff about if we lose, there'll be a bloodbath. Look what they're trying to do now. In the local election districts where people count the votes… they're putting people in place in states where they're gonna count the votes, right? You can't love your country only when you win."

First and foremost, the bloodbath comment was taken out of context and has already been debunked numerous times by numerous outlets. Trump was talking about the automobile market. Second, yes, the Trump campaign is putting people in place to ensure vote tallies are correct, so what is wrong with that?

And let’s talk about the elephant in the room, which nobody wants to discuss. Have people forgotten about the rioting the first time that Trump won office? What do you think will happen this time, with Democrats whipping up their voters for four years and fearmongering about Trump? Does anyone think the streets won’t be on fire if Trump wins? Biden had it right when he first answered! If Trump wins, there probably will not be a peaceful transfer of power.

Analysis

If I am being honest, I expect there to be trouble regardless of who wins this election. I have zero doubt that if Trump wins, our streets will be set on fire. Liberals are going to lose their minds if Trump beats Harris, and when you factor in how Democrats are going to play up race in this election, yes, I am very fearful for what will happen in our streets.

On the flip side, how will the diehard Trump supporters react if Trump loses? After Trump had a commanding lead in the general election polls, Democrats removed a candidate who had won his primary and swapped out someone else in an unprecedented move. This is what you see in communist countries, not the United States. Does anyone really expect them to take a loss by sitting on their hands?

This country is a lit fuse right now, and the only question is how long it will take before the fuse ignites the powder keg. Sadly, I believe this November, regardless of the outcome, will be a very ugly time in this country, and that will likely only get worse after inauguration day. I hope I am wrong, but I don’t see any outcome to this presidential race that does not result in chaos and outrage in this country.
