When Joe Biden announced that he was withdrawing from the presidential race, he also announced that he would spend the remainder of his term pushing Supreme Court reform.
Recently, Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch told Joe Biden to "be careful" about his proposals.

Last week, Joe Biden published his official Supreme Court reforms, which he will work on during his final six months in office. These would include the No One is Above the Law Amendment, term limits for Supreme Court justices, and a binding code of conduct for the Supreme Court.
This is nothing more than smoke and mirrors to try to help Kamala Harris win the election. These reforms have no chance of getting through Congress, and Biden knows this. However, seeing Republicans block the effort will enable Biden to paint the Republican Party as extremist, especially in regard to the Amendment he wants added to the Constitution.
As for that Amendment, presidential immunity does not block any president from being charged with a crime once they have left office if that alleged crime was not part of their presidential duties. The Supreme Court has been very clear that every act of a president is not necessarily an official act of a sitting president.
If that act is deemed to have been that of a private citizen, the president can still be charged after leaving office. This was never even in question, so again, this is nothing but smoke and mirrors by Biden to create some election fodder for Harris.
Justice Gorsuch has been one of the more outspoken justices, not only among the justices appointed by Trump but of all the justices in general. I would consider him more moderate than the other conservative justices, especially when it comes to justice reform.
While I don't always agree with his opinions, I do believe he was an exceptional appointment by Trump to create a better balance on the court.
To that point, Gorsuch recently addressed the reforms outlined by Biden, hitting Biden for turning the Supreme Court into a "political issue" during an election year. He stressed the importance of an "independent judiciary" in this country, stating:
"It's there for the moments when the spotlight's on you, when the government's coming after you. And don't you want a ferociously independent judge and a jury of your peers to make those decisions? Isn't that your right as an American?
"And so I just say, be careful."
Let's be honest… if liberals outnumbered conservatives on the bench right now, we would not even be having this conversation. Democrats only want to see Supreme Court "reform" because they do not own the majority. Joe Biden has attempted to rewrite the rules throughout his administration, and they did it again in terms of the election, but this is something that will fail. But again, the only reason Biden is doing this is to lure in far-left voters who did not want to vote for Biden and energize them to vote for Harris. Biden is using his office as a campaign tool, again showing how broken our current system is.
