One would think the media would have empathy for someone who just missed being assassinated by less than an inch, but that was not even a consideration for the leftist operatives that pose as the mainstream media in this country.
The blood was still warm on Trump's face when the media tried to spin the narrative that Donald Trump alone was responsible for some maniac pointing a long gun at his head and pulling the trigger.

Within 24 hours of the shooting, the mainstream media in this country tried to kill any empathy that was building for Trump after the failed assassination attempt against him. Not surprisingly, Democrat operative, lackey, and talking head George Stephanopoulos, who pretends to be an anchor on ABC News, led the charge. If you watched the video, you heard how they were even pushing debunked talking points, specifically about Trump's bloodbath comments. This is because they are terrified the shooter will somehow be linked to Joe Biden, the Democrat Party, and/or liberals. But that was not the end of it. CBS anchor Margaret Brennan slammed Trump for not immediately making a statement to dial down the temperature. She stated:
"He is recovering from these injuries now, this was a traumatic event, no doubt, for him.
"But I did notice there was no call for lowering the temperature, condemning all political violence, and really trying to signal to his supporters as well not to retaliate or have any kind of escalation here."
Ironically, among my friends, I had predicted the media would resort to this attack when I saw Trump's initial statement after the shooting. The media is beyond predictable at this point. You would think they would give him a heartbeat to digest everything, but that was not the case. Later, Trump released a statement to quell anger and unite the country, at which point Brennan dialed her attack back, claiming, "It was not meant as a critique, but rather an observation I made in the moment of that breaking news." Make no mistake about it… she was passive-aggressive with her initial attack against Trump.
CNN also went after Trump for his immediate reaction on stage after having been shot. If you saw the video, Trump fought his way through his Secret Service team to hold up a fist and yell, "FIGHT" several times to the crowd. It was probably the moment that will define him for the remainder of this campaign, but CNN found it horrifying that he dared to be defiant in the aftermath of an assassination attempt. CNN special correspondent Jamie Gangel stated:
"I do want to say there was one thing that when I watched the tape, I found odd because of all of the heated rhetoric, and that is after he was hit, former President Trump got up and said, 'fight, fight, fight.'
"I think what we're hearing from people is that's not the message that we want to be sending right now. We want to tamp it down."
The media seems to be forgetting all the rhetoric that came from the left on this subject both before and after the attack. A Democrat congressman fired a staffer who posted "Don't miss next time" on social media. Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) attacked a fellow Democrat for saying that Trump will probably win, calling a possible second term "fascism." And let's not forget the words of Joe Biden himself, who, during a recent donor call, stated:
"So, we're done talking about the debate. It's time to put Trump in a bullseye."
Those were just a few of the remarks, as Dems have been dialing up violent rhetoric against Trump since 2015 when he announced his candidacy. Yet, the media never holds them accountable. Not a single mainstream media outlet other than Fox News even covered the "bullseye" comment by Biden, yet every one of them managed to take Trump's "bloodbath" comment out of context to hit him.
I don't take a single word of empathy by Democrats regarding Trump's failed assassination seriously because they have made it quite clear how they feel about Trump over the years. As I have stated many times, Democrats want chaos; they thrive on it. They want Americans at each other's throats, created by their rhetoric, hoping the right will strike so they can point the finger at conservatives for upheaval. But we cannot let them win this time.
We have to take a breath, and as badly as many would like to seek physical revenge, we have to get our revenge by removing these people from our government, from power, and taking control back of this country. Then we hold every one of them accountable for the atrocities that have taken place over the last four years, including an indictment against Joe Biden for his "bullseye" comment, which clearly encouraged violence against his political opponent, Donald Trump.
