Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) voiced strong criticism against President Joe Biden’s immigration policies on a recent episode of FNC’s “Hannity.”
During the detailed interview, Senator Paul discussed the perceived threats posed by the influx of immigrants under President Biden's administration, Breitbart News reported.
He argued that immigration policies have contributed to both terrorism and domestic crime. Specifically, he cited immigrants from countries such as Tajikistan, Egypt, Tunisia, and China, emphasizing that the issues extend beyond terrorism to include everyday criminal activities.
Senator Paul took issue with sanctuary city policies, which he claims prevent detained immigrants from being appropriately deported. I think terrorism is of great concern, and I think, you know, with dozens and dozens over, almost 200 people coming in from other countries, you see the list, you see the interviews, Tajikistan, Egypt, Tunisia, all over the Middle East, China, I mean, from all over the place, but it’s not just terrorism. It’s regular domestic criminal, you know, behavior. It should be enough to disqualify Biden from consideration.
He further emphasized his concerns over the Biden administration's decisions that have, in his view, compromised public safety.
Imagine the images if people in America can figure out and know that people like Laken Riley were killed by someone that President Biden’s administration specifically allowed to come in. They paroled them. They decided that it was OK for them to come into this country. And then when they were arrested for a variety of crimes that they’re here, nobody did anything about it because they were in Democrat cities that are sanctuary cities where being arrested for a crime is not enough to be deported. They prevent the immigration authorities from seeing the arrest records. Ok, this is all on Biden’s shoulders.
