FBI Director Admits Terror Threats Increased Under Biden Administration

 November 1, 2023

On Tuesday, FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the Senate Homeland Committee.

He was asked a question by Senator Scott (R-FL) that led to one of the most awkward pauses that said far more about what he thought than the actual words that came out of his mouth.

Talking Points…

  • Biden's Foreign Policy Disasters
  • FBI Director Wray's comments
  • My Two Cents…

Biden Foreign Policy Disasters

When Biden ran for president, his foreign policy "experience" was supposed to be one of the backbones of his presidency.

This was mostly fantasy, however, as Biden never really had what most people would consider a major achievement in foreign policy during his time as a Senator. We can take that a step further to his vice presidency, where most conservatives would state the Obama-Biden administration was a catastrophe on that front.

Ironically, one of the areas of that administration's foreign policy failures was the strain that was put on the Israel-United States relationship.

Since Biden has been in office, Afghanistan has turned over to terrorists. He has coddled Iran and continues to do so even though Iranian-backed groups are attacking our troops in the Middle East, Ukraine was invaded, Israel is at war with Hamas, terror threats worldwide have gone up, China is being overly aggressive with Taiwan, and North Korea is threatening nuclear war.

From my perspective, there has not been a single win for Biden on foreign policy since taking office.

Biden's domestic policy has now intertwined with foreign policy due to the immigration issues at our southern border.

The ease with which people are crossing has emboldened terrorist nations to send more migrants our way, and surely some of them are terror threats. In fact, terror watch list encounters at the border are at an all-time high under Biden.

To that point, Senato Rick Scott asked FBI Director Wray if the country was safer under Joe Biden.

He responded:

"What I would say to you is that the terror threats have elevated. But I also think there are a lot of things the country has done throughout law enforcement to be better prepared to deal with them."

Here is the interaction, and just watch Wray's demeanor as he tries to formulate this answer in a way that will not get him fired…

Wray further stated:

"The reality is that the terrorism threat has been elevated throughout 2023, but the ongoing war in the Middle East has raised the threat of an attack against Americans in the United States to a whole other level."

My Two Cents…

I have always believed that Joe Biden's coddling of Iran and refusal to secure our border was going to result in a terror attack on U.S. soil again.

If it does not happen during the last two years of the Biden administration, I believe it will happen within two years of Biden leaving office if he is removed after his first term.

There are just too many encounters at the border, and the Hamas invasion of Israel shows just how empowered these terror groups believe they have become with a weak United States.

We are no longer feared by these groups and enemy countries, and when they sense weakness, they pounce.

Russia could have invaded Ukraine at any time, but it chose to do so after Biden took office. Hamas started planning this attack after Biden took office. North Korea's aggression increased after Biden took office. China's posturing with Taiwan became more aggressive after Biden took office.

These are just the facts… this man and this administration have made our country weaker in our enemies and adversaries' eyes, and our allies are paying the price for it.

This is all just body blows at the United States in the form of draining our assets until we are more vulnerable, then the direct attack will come.

This is one prediction that I would love to get wrong, and I hope I am, but, at least to me, the writing on the wall seems fairly apparent.
