While Jill Biden is out there hustling for Joe Biden, more or less taking over Joe’s duties on the campaign trail, we have seen very little of Melania Trump on the trail for our former president.
That is not likely to change anytime soon.
However, do not mistake her silence for non-support of her husband.
People tend to think that since Melania is a former Playboy model, she would be far more outgoing, but that is not the case, and it never was.
While she was electric in front of the lens, she was never one to seek out the limelight, even at the height of her career.
When Donald Trump won the White House in 2016, it was really the first time people realized how private she really is, as well as how protective she is of her son, Barron.
When the mug shot of Trump was released, and there was still no Melania, natural curiosity led people to ask questions about possible issues between Melania and Donald Trump.
After all, she was never at any of the trials, and has yet to make a campaign appearance with him.
Sources close to the Trumps, however, say there are no issues, but she prefers to stay private.
“Melania hates all of the legal problems but understands how her husband uses adversity to his advantage.
“She knows the mug shot is sending both a f**k you message to his enemies as well as a kiss to his flock.”
While Donald focuses on his campaign and legal problems, Melania continues to focus on Barron, who is now in his senior year of high school.
So far, we have not seen Melania on the campaign trail, but that does not mean it will not happen.
Because of the distance that Trump has among other primary candidates and his legal problems, I would not expect to see too much of Melania in the near future.
However, once the primary is over and IF Trump wins the nomination, I have a feeling Melania will be back by his side again.
This is just the curse of being a conservative… the media hates you.
Melania was crucified by the media when Trump was in office for the first time, so it is understandable why she now avoids the media at all costs.
I mean, Jill Biden, who wears some of the plainest and ugliest clothing I have ever seen on a First Lady, has already had fashion covers, yet a former supermodel was ignored.
Other than right-wing publications and Fox News, you would be challenged to find a kind word written about Melania from 2016 to 2020.
I have always liked Melania and thought she did a relatively good job as our First Lady.
We certainly have not had anyone that looks like her in modern history.
She may never be able to escape her Playboy past, but the biggest curse for her in terms of the media is that she is married to Donald Trump.
Melania does not like confrontation, and she hates fake news, so don’t expect to see or hear much from her until, at the earliest, the general election season starts.
She will never seek the camera like Hillary Clinton or Michelle Obama, so please don’t expect that from her.
Having said that, she embraced her duties as First Lady and if Trump wins again, I would expect much of the same from her the second time around.
